ohh this took me back to thandiani ..and the galliats.... ohh wht amazing pictures.... i was talkin to rukh the other day abt the thandiani, nathia gali .... have u ever been on the ayubia track its a 4 knm track and get right outside the chairlifts....i have been their soo many times usually while u r walking the clouds cum around ..its amazin...i would have taken pictures, but tht was the age of old camera's n last time i went in 2005.... good pics n the setting mountains ....
@nando thanx, you know wat, its surprising these pictures came out so good i took them with my cell which has a vga camera! Can you believe that? I couldn't when i saw the pictures anyways mashaALLAH mashaALLAH they came out good. I think i've been on the ayubia track though i cant really figure out whether i've really been there or not. I'm sure i've been to the ayubia chairlifts. Thandiani is a good place, its the highest around Abbotabad much much higher than muree and most of the galiat (there's only one which is higher and i dont remember the name). Anyways, one of my future plans is to earn money, buy a good video camera and then pack my bag. InshaAllah.
mubi .. no i havent forgotten ur blog ... m.h.a.. i thn its nathiagali which is the highest of all galliat ....n it would be amazing if u got tht chance cuz as my dad says tht wildlife and nature at its very best can be viewed in pakistan very conveniently .... so get the camera and go away wht a chance... and i will have to agree with m.h.a here his pictures were irresistable ..... i mean u watch em n go back to amazing trips that i have had to those areas ..it is sad u havent been there .... u knw wht M.H.A i love the thing in these northern areas that how it rains at one time gets very cloudy and then right after it rains the sun cums out ..... its amazing
I just wanna travel all of pakistan, not just the northern areas. I recently went to sindh and loved every bit of it. Its funny how i never noticed before things i notice now, the smallest of things like how the sand dunes change their locations and how a desert snake wriggles and how dense the clouds look at your eye level and how cool is it to be above the clouds. Its so humbling. Btw nando that one minute rain another minute sun thing happens in Lahore too :p in fact just happened today..:p
mubi there is a difference between rain here and rain there...its all tht u havent experienced it that u are aware of it ... n i am sure that u didnt understand my point when i said that the setting of these mountains and clouds is what makes it irresistable but guess the green eyed monster has taken over mubster right now ...hahaahha ...LOL
LMAO @ u threez convo... luv the pics...the first two are sooo beautiful...i luv the negative-like effect the cloouds are giving off...i dunno y it keeps reminding me of ayubia and the sunset i got to watch there...it was sooo damn colorful...and it was like the setting sun was a drowning island in the whiteness of infinity...it was soooo beautiful and my khala made soo much fun of me coz i thot it was soo entrancing and kept exclaiming over it after every 30 secs :D btw the highest point is Changla gali...i just found out this time i went coz we had lunch there and its one awesome place for long drives!!
@cutee pie about time you got here woman, you've so much to comment on...anyways, yeah i knew nathiagali wasn't the highest point, it was some other gali and as it turns out it was chaglagali, never been there i think or else my geography has gone bad... Thanx for liking the pictures i always knew i had a future in nature photography...:p
