I've a really strange habit. When i watch football, for some reason i imagine myself playing. I always imagine that the players i'm watching on screen is me. I imagine myself in moments of triumph, in moments of crisis. I imagine myself scoring a goal and celebrating infront of the fans, jumping up and down. I imagine picking myself up after a goal is scored against us, making a comeback, defying all the odds. But most of all i imagine myself standing, my hand on my heart, listening to my national anthem. Singing it, making sure the world knows what all this means to me. There's probably no feeling better than this. Even watching it on tv lifts me up.
The reason i do and feel all this, because this is my dream. I hope i'll be able to follow my dream someday. I really do. It really means a lot!

ya my aversion was always for cricket but they have disappointed me so many times besides rukh its all coz of amna.. while you were busy being anti social it was just amna and me and football talk :p

Waisay pardon me but my experience is that girls have been kind of materialistic regarding football...lol...they support manchester united coz they think Ronaldo is cute, livespool coz they think gerrard is cute, arsenal coz they think fabregas is cute, chelsea coz they think ballack is cute...i really really really hope you have other reasons :P...btw that comment i made on your blog about not following up on your comments was before i read this comment of yours. So never mind.

in world cup it was italy and tht was coz of the way they played,,dono much about football to be honest, the only thing i felt/liked aobut their game was their movements, may sound silly but i felt they have this rhythm they play with..
No that doesn't sound silly they really do have a rhythm going on and with coordination thats wat makes a beautiful game ..i was supporting brazil and italy. I was supporting italy in euro too, but their strikers let them down. Waisay with time you'll understand football, i see the spark in you :p...follow the next football season, english premier league is much easier to follow coz of the timings, so watch that, and if you wanna see a really really cool player with an awesome playing style, look for Dimitar Berbatov, he's a bulgarian, and plays for tottenham currently but might make a transfer. But remember this name, he's one of the coolest players i've ever seen. In every sense of the word cool!
