National respect and matters of INTERnational interest!
Its strange how the current political scenario is unfolding. And its strange for more than one reasons. Its infact a very multi dimensional political scenario where national events are MADE to merge with some international interests. In all, from a bird's eye view, it appears to be a very well manipulated and disguised scenario!
I was sitting watchin tv with my father yesterday night when suddenly the flickers on the bottom of the screen of a news channel went "BREAKING NEWS"
i had to wait for a couple of seconds before the explanation followed. "OSAMA BIN LADEN TO BE ARRESTED, DEAD OR ALIVE-CIA"
wat the hell i thought. Didn't we already know that the US was after him? Why do they stupidly repeat their agenda so many times like they themselves know they're lying ? Ofcourse they're lying all the way for what i can make out, why else would the foreign office of a superpower act so stupid? Anyways stupid is a wrong word, probably reserved for only third world countries like us, specifically us because we managed to get our country into a perfectly deadly situation just to please the US, all the time telling ourselves, "SABSE PEHLE PAKISTAN", how utterly stupid!
Anyways coming back to the breaking news, in a short time a bulletin followed where some guy from the CIA said he was sure Osama was in Pakistan and therefore striking the Western areas of Pakistan was in the best interests of the United States. Now apart from attacking our sovereignity in that statement, they guy also killed another bird. He wanted to say that we probably are a mentally challenged nation and our mental age lags behind our physical, historical or national age so to speak and he could get away with excuses like that even! Okay fine, i accept, if Mush could do that to us for 8 years, (and he isn't tired yet, nor are we) why couldn't the high and mighty US? Comeon, thats the word laughing at our gullibility (i'll explain it in a bit)!
Now with this news i kept pondering, what the hell what the hell what the hell! Everything else stayed out of my brain for the reason that the internal situation of pakistan sounded very complicated too.
PM Yousaf Raza Gillani, proved to be a perfect gentleman and the day he took office, he announced his 100 day policy. Now i hadn't heard much about this guy before he took his current office, but his policy probably brought some of my trust in politicians back. I still dont know if the goverment will do what they've promised but i'll give them this much, that these days, just speaking up for the truth and your rights isn't that easy. Anyways, practically every point of his policy clashed with the great Mush's so called policy (damn he could only make a fool outta us, the policy making was left to the US). I was wondering, how would the two factions of the executive work together? When in essence their policies were an oxymoron. The answer i've already stated in the beginning. Whenever there's a problem, captain America steps in. And yes, they deem this as a problem. Firstly because their faithful Mush is in danger of losing his office through pressure and secondly they feel that finally Pakistan might be moving towards a government with more self respect, after 8 long years. And how could our dear dear friend afford to see that? So there they plant the OBL bomb in waziristan, and here they've a perfect reason to intervene because "PAKISTAN COMES FIRST"
now as complex as this problem might sound, even a layman would understand the reasons to this without a difficulty. By saying we're gullible i meant a lot of things. We're gullible because we were fooled by a dictator for 8 long years. We're gullible because we were and we are fooled by western powers who inject us with poisoned intoxications disguising them as vaccinations. We were fooled all this time by our ownselves and our escapisms. But the worst twist of the story was that our rulers lost no time in losing their national self respect. It aches my heart to say this, but we really have damaged our self respect to an extent that in needs to be repaired in emergency! And i mean that. We'd be better off as a poor but proud nation rather than a mediocre and easily fooled, externally controlled colony of a superpower, run by dogs that do the bidding on the master's bidding without questioning.
Lets lift our heads. Lets tell these people we donot need leaders to make us feel proud. Just because one soulless freak (read pres) made us look mentally challenged doesn't mean he won, there's still more to fight for!
